Introduction

Jeremy Paxton, born in Hackney, 51, 4 children (Red 28, Ruby 23, Rory 18 and stepson Max, 32). One-time champion water-skier, lover of nature, committed to environmental causes, commercial pilot (and passionate about flying), a man with an eye for the visual arts and a dedicated proponent of exciting architecture and sustainable communities.

He created and then sold a publishing house, became a partner in a development company, and sold out to buy the 550-acre Lower Mill Estate in Gloucestershire which he turned into a residential nature reserve, featuring distinctively designed vacation homes and a £6m spa. He’s now invited some of the world’s top architects to create one-off, landmark, modernist homes on the site.

In this blog, he articulates, debates and discusses his passions.
